Character:
A short walk along the seawall connects Coal Harbour to Stanley Park,
one of the largest urban parks in North America, offering neighborhood
residents easy access to the park’s numerous running and bike
trails. With the seawall stretching the length of the neighborhood –
from Canada Place to Stanley Park – Coal Harbour’s waterfront
is a mix of walkers, joggers, cyclists, roller-bladers and dogs of all
sizes.
Coal Harbour boasts a close proximity to downtown Vancouver, with Robson
Street, the city’s premier shopping street and Howe Street, Vancouver's
financial core, just around the corner. This active community can combine
jogging in the morning, shopping in the afternoon and dinner at a world-class
waterfront restaurant in the evening to top off the day.

What's in the neighborhood:
The seaside walkway is Coal Harbour’s center of activity, and
includes a marina, community centre, hotels and award-winning restaurants.
Numerous café’s, a health center, playgrounds and boutique
stores are also clustered close to the waterfront. The neighborhood
is still developing, and new amenities are popping up to serve the growing
community.
Coal Harbour residents also have the luxury of two major transportation
options. The floatplane terminal in Burrard Inlet provides a convenient
means of reaching Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. Vancouver's
downtown heliport is also nearby, making Whistler, Victoria and Seattle
a short helicopter ride away.
